ADPS, also known as N-ethyl-N - (3-sulfopropyl) -3-methoxyaniline sodium salt dihydrate, is a commonly used chromogenic substrate for horseradish peroxidase HRP or peroxidase POD. Its appearance is pure white crystal powder, with a purity of over 99%, and a pH range of 5.5-9.5, with an absorption wavelength of up to 540nm. It has obvious advantages of high water solubility and high color sensitivity.

New trinder's reagents refer to highly water-soluble aniline derivatives, which are a large category of chromogenic substrates used in in vitro diagnostic kits to detect changes in liver function, kidney function, blood sugar, and blood lipids, thereby reflecting changes in the body. The principle of action of chromogenic substrates is generally to infer the content and activity of the measured substance by measuring the absorbance change of the chromogenic substrate.

The trinder's reaction principle is to mix the new trinder's reagent 4-AAP with the corresponding oxidase and peroxidase to be tested. Due to the specificity of enzyme substances, they catalyze specific substances, and are sensitive to pH values, biological buffering agents need to be added to adjust to the appropriate pH range of enzyme substances. Add the substance to be tested to the above mixture for color reaction, producing a red quinone imine compound. Calculate the value of the tested item based on its absorbance.
