Application

 

1. TAPS is a commonly used buffer system in DNA screening systems and can also be used as a buffer component for RNA samples, suitable for electron transfer and phosphorylation research in chloroplast thin layer preparation.

2. Protect oxygenated hemoglobin from oxidation to methemoglobin during freeze-drying process;

3. Can serve as a background electrolyte for protein microanalysis in capillary zone electrophoresis;

4. It can be used as an important pH stabilizer, usually mixed with weak acids and their conjugated bases to obtain an appropriate pH value;
