How to prepare the solvent for the coagulant powder.
To prepare a 1L solution of procoagulant powder we need to prepare the following reagents:
1, 60 grams of powdered coagulation-promoting powder;
2, 850 ml of alcohol;
3. 18 g of water-soluble silicone oil;
4. 150 ml of distilled water;
5. 18 g of polyethylene glycol 400.
Equipment required:
1. an electronic balance;
2. two measuring cylinders with a range of 100 ml;
3. two clean beakers;
4. A glass stirring bar.
Configuration steps:
1, the prepared 850ml of alcohol, poured into half to 60 grams of coagulation powder powder, stirring with a glass rod until completely dissolved (because the coagulation powder will be dissolved after a certain amount of precipitation, so this step will be added to the alcohol in two times, to avoid the residual coagulation powder in the latter vessels) to get reagent A set aside;
2, Add the weighed water-soluble silicone oil and polyethylene glycol 400 to distilled water and stir to make it fully integrated to obtain reagent B;
3, mix the prepared reagent A and reagent B into a beaker, stir and mix well, and wash the beaker with the remaining ethanol from step 1 to avoid the loss of the powder by precipitation at the bottom of the beaker, before pouring the alcohol into the mixed AB reagent;
4. Continue stirring with a stirring bar for 30 minutes to mix thoroughly to obtain 1L of successfully configured blood procoagulant powder solvent.
