ALPS color response

As a member of the new Trinder's reagent, DAOS has high water solubility compared to other chromogenic substrates and is a stable aniline analog. The pH range of the chromogenic process and oxidation reaction is wide, and it is widely used for diagnostic testing and biochemical experiments. There are several advantages in colorimetric determination of hydrogen peroxide activity compared to conventional chromogenic reagents. The new Trinder's reagent is stable enough to be used in both solution and experimental pipeline detection systems.
 

Precautions for the use of DAOS

1. DAOS for detecting blood sugar

In daily blood detection, the determination of glucose is one of the important clinical detection indicators. The new Trinder's reagent DAOS coupled with Ampyrone as a reducing chromogen can determine the glucose content.

2. DAOS for cholesterol detection

By coupling DAOS and 4-AAP, a color reaction is generated with H2O2 catalyzed by peroxidase, and the concentration of total cholesterol can be determined by measuring absorbance.

3. DAOS for triglyceride detection

In the presence of lipoprotein esterase, triglycerides are hydrolyzed to form glycerol and fatty acids, and glycerol and ATP are catalyzed by glycerol kinase to form glycerol-3-phosphate and ADP. Glycerol-3-phosphate and oxygen generate DHAP and H2O2 under the catalysis of glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase (GPO), while the chromogenic substrate DAOS follows the same principle. 4-AAP coupling with H2O2 produces a chromogenic reaction, and TG concentration is measured.
