The full name of MAOS is N-ethyl-N - (2-hydroxy-3-sulfopropyl) -3,5-dimethylaniline sodium salt, which is a highly water-soluble aniline derivative of the new Trinder's reagent and plays a crucial role in it. A water-soluble reagent that can be applied to the enzymatic spectrophotometric determination of hydrogen peroxide, and is widely used for diagnostic testing and biochemical experiments.

Application

 

1. High molar absorption intensity

Due to the high molar absorption intensity of MAOS color reaction, its sensitivity is also relatively high. However, it should be noted that when the detection time is too long, MAOS may fade, so MAOS detection needs to be completed in a timely manner and cannot be interrupted.

2. Wide range of pH values

The color reaction of MAOS substrate has a wide adaptability range to the pH of the reaction system, greatly improving its adaptability. Some color reagents often react under slightly acidic conditions, but enzyme involvement is usually required in biochemical testing. We know that enzyme catalysis is sensitive to the pH of the reaction environment, and it may even become inactive if it does not match the color reagents. Its use is greatly limited, while MAOS reagents do not have this problem.

3. High absorption wavelength

The absorption wavelength of chromogenic MAOS is relatively high, reaching 630nm, and is less affected by other substances in serum or other samples. It can be used for detection items that require high precision values, which greatly reduces interference.
